Research Participants Needed

Managing Values Conflicts in Counseling: Exploring the Impact of Experience, Cognitive Flexibility, Religiosity, and the Supervisory Relationship

 Are you 18 years of age or older?

 Are you currently attending, or did you graduate from, a CACREP-accredited clinical mental health counseling program?

 Have you provided at least one hour of mental health services?

 Have you received at least one hour of clinical supervision?

 If you are licensed, (LPC, LMHC, or equivalent), has it been for less than 5 years?

 

If you answered yes to each of the questions listed above, you may be eligible to participate in a research study.

 

The purpose of this research study is to is to better understand the relationship between a counselor’s clinical experience and their management of a values-based conflict in their clinical work.

 

Participants will be asked to do the following:

Complete a 20-minute survey including demographics and four assessments.*

*Participation will be completely anonymous, and no personal, identifying information will be collected.
 

A consent document is provided as the first page of the survey.

Nicole Taylor, a doctoral candidate in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at Liberty University, is conducting this study.
